Stuart Park Playground Upgrade Starts in Courtice Week of July 14
Construction on a playground upgrade at Stuart Park in Courtice is scheduled to begin the week of July 14, according to the Municipality of Clarington. The municipality says the playground is expected to reopen this fall after construction is complete.
The project will introduce new play structures, swings—including an accessible swing—benches, and newly paved pathways. A ramp and wood fibre safety surfacing are also planned to enhance accessibility for children of all abilities.
The Municipality of Clarington stated that some areas of Stuart Park may be temporarily closed to the public while work is underway. Updates on the project are available on the Municipality of Clarington's website.
