Taunton Road lane restrictions in Clarington scheduled to continue until summer 2026

Lane restrictions are in place on Taunton Road (Regional Road 4) in Clarington, from east of Townline Road to west of Enfield Road (Regional Road 34), as road reconstruction continues. The restrictions are scheduled to continue until summer 2026.

The Region says the work may be disruptive for people who use Taunton Road and for nearby properties along the corridor, as reconstruction work continues into 2026.

Unfavourable weather conditions may affect the work schedule.

Drivers are asked to exercise caution in the area for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.

Access to residential driveways will be maintained whenever possible. Residents will be notified if vehicles need to be moved out of a driveway.

Businesses along the route will remain open during construction.
