Transit Detours for Port Perry Santa Claus Parade

Durham Region Transit has announced detours for Route 905C due to the Port Perry Santa Claus Parade scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2024. The parade will result in road closures affecting transit routes from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Northbound Detour:

  • Northbound trips departing Whitby Station at 3:10 PM, 4:40 PM, 6:10 PM, and 7:40 PM will be rerouted via Old Simcoe Road, Doctor Archer Drive, Sherrington Drive, and Reach Street.

Southbound Detour:

  • Southbound trips departing Railway southbound at Albert Street at 4:21 PM, 5:55 PM, and 7:25 PM will detour via Sherrington Drive, Doctor Archer Drive, Old Simcoe Road, and Scugog Street.

Temporary stops will be available at Old Simcoe Road at Scugog Street and Doctor Archer Drive at Old Simcoe Road.
