Update on Public Access Defibrillator Program Agreement Renewal with Lakeridge Health

On January 27, 2020, the General Government Committee of Clarington authorized the renewal of the Public Access Defibrillator Program agreement with Lakeridge Health. The resolution, moved by Councillor Hooper and seconded by Mayor Foster, included the signing of the agreement provided by the Central East Prehospital Care Program (CEPCP) on behalf of Lakeridge Health. Councillor Jones declared an indirect interest in this item due to her employment with Lakeridge Health and refrained from discussion and voting. The committee's action is aimed at enhancing emergency response capabilities within the community.
