Waverley Place Museum Tours Announced for Fall 2025 in Clarington

Tours of Waverley Place Museum at the Sarah Jane Williams Museum in Clarington will take place on Thursday evenings—September 4, September 25, November 13, and November 27, 2025—from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., according to Clarington Library, Museums & Archives. Clarington Library, Museums & Archives states that these tours are open to all ages and require registration in advance.

According to Clarington Library, Museums & Archives, Waverley Place Museum is a historic home furnished and exhibited to represent the Edwardian period, highlighting the years between 1900 and the 1930s. The museum, as described by Clarington Library, Museums & Archives, depicts the lifestyle of a wealthy merchant family from the local area during that time.

Clarington Library, Museums & Archives also announced that all its locations, including the Sarah Jane Williams Museum, will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, for Labour Day. Regular hours will remain in effect on Saturday, August 30, and Sunday, August 31.
