Westney Transit Front Counter in Ajax to Close for Maintenance on Select Dates

Durham Region Transit announced that its Westney public front counter in Ajax will be closed on May 17, 24, 25, 31, and June 7 for a planned maintenance project. During these dates, in-person inquiries, fare media sales, and lost and found collection will not be available at the front counter.

The closure affects residents who rely on in-person services at the Westney location. Customers can continue to access support by phone and can purchase Presto fares online or at other in-person locations, according to Durham Region Transit.

Durham Region Transit stated that customer service phone lines will remain open throughout the maintenance period. Phone support is available Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
