Whitby Man Arrested Following Multiple Probation Breach Allegations
A 27-year-old man was arrested in Whitby on Sunday, July 20, 2025, following multiple alleged breaches of probation, according to Durham Regional Police. Officers responded to a report of an unwanted person at a residence near Chestnut Street East and Perry Street around 7:20 p.m.

Police identified the man as Jordan Wheeler, 27, with no fixed address. He has been charged with eight counts of failing to comply with a probation order and was held for a bail hearing. Durham Regional Police reported that Wheeler was also wanted on several other charges related to a separate, unrelated incident at the time of his arrest.
