Zephyr Road in Uxbridge to close May 4–Nov. 30, 2026 for Laurie Bridge replacement

Zephyr Road (Regional Road 13) will be closed between Concession Road 5 and Concession Road 6 in the Township of Uxbridge from May 4 to Nov. 30, 2026, for the Laurie Bridge replacement project, according to a notice from Durham Region.

The closure will keep traffic out of the work zone while crews replace the bridge and complete related road work on the same stretch of Zephyr Road.

Durham Region said the planned work includes replacing the Laurie Bridge, installing a new guide rail system, adding new pavement markings and completing landscaping.

Drivers are asked to use caution in the area for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
