2019 Community Event Sponsorships Approved by Clarington Committee

On November 25, 2019, the General Government Committee of Clarington approved several community event sponsorship requests as part of Report CSD-011-19. The following organizations received funding: Clarington Zone - Minor Peewee AAA was approved for $2,000.00 (Resolution # GG-534-19); Canadian Cancer Society Durham received $2,000.00 (Resolution # GG-535-19); Autism Home Base Durham was granted $1,000.00 (Resolution # GG-536-19), with Councillor Neal declaring an interest and abstaining from the vote; Newtonville Town Hall was approved for $1,000.00 (Resolution # GG-537-19); Epilepsy Durham received $2,000.00 (Resolution # GG-538-19); and Big Brothers Big Sisters was granted $2,000.00 (Resolution # GG-539-19). All resolutions were carried unanimously.
