DRPS Kicks Off Police Week 2025 Highlighting Community Engagement

The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) is set to commence Police Week 2025 with activities running from May 11 to May 17. The theme for this year is "Committed to Serve Together", aiming to underscore the connections between police officers and the communities they serve.

The launch event will take place on Monday, May 12, at the Oshawa Centre. An informational booth will be available from May 12 to May 15, featuring displays such as vintage police cruisers alongside educational materials and giveaways for visitors.

These activities are organized as part of the initiative to engage with community members and enhance public understanding of police work in the region.
