Route 302 to miss Brock Street stops during November 11 Whitby detour

Durham Region Transit’s Route 302 will detour through downtown Whitby from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, because of a road closure for a Remembrance Day service, according to the transit agency.

During the two-hour detour, buses will not serve Brock Street stops between Mary Street and Burns Street. Southbound Brock Street stop #210 at Mary Street will also be out of service.

Route 302 buses will instead travel along Burns Street, Garden Street and Mary Street. All stops along the detour route will remain in service.

Temporary stops will be on eastbound and westbound Mary Street east of Brock Street, westbound Mary Street west of Garden Street, and southbound Garden Street south of Mary Street.
