T&T roasted black soybeans recalled in Ontario over undeclared milk

Share

Certain 300 g packages of T&T brand Organic Roasted Black Soybeans distributed in Ontario are being recalled because they may contain milk not declared on the label, according to a Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) warning published Nov. 7, 2026.

The CFIA warns that the recalled soybeans may cause serious or life-threatening reactions in people allergic or sensitive to milk. The agency says no reactions associated with consuming the product have been reported.

The recall applies to packages with UPC 7 76703 33812 1 and any of these codes:

  • 2027JA26
  • 2027JN09
  • 2027JN10

The CFIA advises consumers to check whether they have the affected packages and not to consume them if they are allergic or sensitive to milk. It says recalled products should not be served, used, sold or distributed, and should be thrown out or returned to the place of purchase.

Uncle T Food is recalling the product. The affected soybeans were also distributed in Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec, according to the agency.

CFIA test results triggered the recall. The agency is conducting a food safety investigation that may lead to recalls of other products and is verifying that industry is removing the affected soybeans from the marketplace.
