Two Charged After Oshawa Stabbing Incident

Two individuals have been charged following a stabbing incident in Oshawa. On October 7, 2024, around 10:50 a.m., police responded to a call regarding an armed person near Bond Street East and Simcoe Street North. A physical altercation between two males resulted in one being stabbed. Both individuals were taken into custody without incident.

The first individual, who sustained minor injuries, was transported to a local hospital. The second individual was unharmed. Wisam Khalifa, 26, from Whitby, faces charges including assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, robbery, and breach of probation. Skylar Collingham, 33, with no fixed address, is charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and assault with a weapon.

Khalifa was held for a bail hearing, while Collingham was released on an undertaking. The investigation is ongoing, and police are seeking any additional information or footage related to the incident.
