CFIA recalls Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Candy (bar) for undeclared pistachio
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a food recall warning for Cadbury brand Dairy Milk Oreo Candy (bar) products that may contain pistachio that is not declared on the label. The products were distributed nationally in Canada and online, according to the agency’s notice dated July 24, 2026.
The warning matters for people with pistachio allergies or sensitivities. CFIA said eating the recalled products could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction, and said there have been reported reactions associated with consumption of these products.
CFIA listed two affected products:
- Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Candy (bar), 38 g (UPC 0 61200 01445 7)
- Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Candy (bar), 12 x 38 g (UPC 0 61200 01444 0)
CFIA said the following package codes apply to both sizes:
- 2026 NO 27 OEC3854844
- 2026 NO 27 OEC3854845
- 2026 NO 27 OEC3854846
- 2027 JA 5 OEC3860215
- 2027 JA 5 OEC3860216
The recalling firm is Mondelez Canada Inc. CFIA said the recall was triggered by the company.
CFIA classified the recall as Class 1 and assigned it identification number RA-82405.
CFIA said it is conducting a food safety investigation that may lead to the recall of other products, and that it is verifying industry is removing the recalled products from the marketplace.
CFIA advised people who are allergic or sensitive to pistachio not to consume the recalled products.
