Durham College, which has campuses in Oshawa and Whitby, outlined several diploma-to-degree pathways for Ontario college diploma and advanced diploma graduates that provide transfer credit toward specific Durham College bachelor’s degrees.

In an Oct. 13, 2026 post, the college said some pathways could let students complete a diploma and degree in “as little as four years.” The post lists eligible prior programs, available transfer credits, an entry semester for the degree, and remaining program requirements.

One pathway in the post is from an Ontario college Social Service Worker diploma to Durham College’s Honours Bachelor of Community Mental Health. Durham College describes it as a two-year pathway after completing the diploma.

The post also outlines a transfer pathway into the Bachelor of Business Administration – Human Resources Management for graduates of a two-year Human Resources – Business diploma. Under the pathway terms, eligible students receive transfer credit for 16 courses, begin in Semester 3, and complete the degree in three semesters plus a 14-week, 420-hour field placement.

Another pathway described in the post is for graduates of Ontario college advanced diplomas in Architectural Technology or Civil Engineering Technology. Eligible graduates can receive credit for the first four semesters of the Honours Bachelor of Construction Management and enter at Semester 5.

Durham College’s post also lists a Fall Open House scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7.
