CFIA recalls Westside Sauce Peanut Thai sold online, including in Ontario, due to spoilage
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) recalled Westside Sauce brand Peanut Thai on July 22, 2026, due to a spoilage concern. The CFIA’s recall notice was last updated July 23 and lists distribution online and in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan.
Ontario residents who bought Westside Sauce Peanut Thai online should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product, the CFIA said.
The recall applies to Westside Sauce Peanut Thai sold in a 237 ml bottle with UPC 6 27987 67780 5.
The CFIA listed the affected product codes as Best Before: 05/02/2028 and Lot 351.
The CFIA categorized the issue as “Food - Microbial contamination - Non harmful (quality or spoilage).”
The recalling firm is The Prairie Stock Market & Goods, according to the CFIA.
The CFIA recall identification number is RA-82396, and the recall class is listed as Class 3.
