Durham Region points residents to online page listing road construction and public works projects

Durham Region says residents can find information about planned and ongoing road construction and other public works projects through its online “Projects and Studies” page at durham.ca/WorksProjects.

The tool is intended to give residents a single place to look up what work is planned or underway, which may be of interest to people who travel through construction areas or want to track projects in their community.

In a notice dated June 5, 2026, Durham Region described the Projects and Studies page as a searchable tool with current information about road construction projects taking place across the region. The region said the page also includes details on specific public works projects that are planned or currently underway.

Durham Region also urged drivers to slow down and proceed with caution through construction zones or in areas where workers are present, citing the safety of workers, other drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.

The notice directed residents to the Projects and Studies page at durham.ca/WorksProjects.
