Durham Region to hold Curbside Giveaway Day June 13
Durham Region will hold a Curbside Giveaway Day on Saturday, June 13, running from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., when residents can place unwanted items in good condition at the curb for anyone to pick up.
Durham Region describes the event as a way to reduce the amount of garbage going to disposal by encouraging residents to give away unwanted items or pick up items others are offering.
According to the region’s notice, items left at the curb should be clearly marked “Free.”
The region also says residents are responsible for bringing any unclaimed items back into their home at the end of the day.
