Share

Durham Region Transit will implement service updates starting Monday, June 29, 2026, including schedule and route changes on select bus routes across Durham Region, the agency said.

The updates include later service times, additional trips to some attractions and new routes, according to a Durham Region Transit notice posted June 26. The changes are part of DRT’s seasonal service adjustments and are intended to improve connections on certain routes.

DRT said riders heading to waterfront destinations can use several routes highlighted in the notice.

Those routes include Route 100, which DRT said provides service to the Pickering waterfront; Route 224, which provides service to the Ajax waterfront; Route 901, which provides service to the Oshawa waterfront; and Route 505, which provides service to the Clarington waterfront.

The notice also lists Route 917 for service to the Toronto Zoo, Rouge National Urban Park, and Lynde Shores.

Updated route maps, schedules and a full list of service changes are posted at DurhamRegionTransit.com/ServiceUpdates, according to DRT.
