Man Struck by School Bus in Oshawa Taken to Hospital

A man in his 60s was taken to hospital after being struck by a school bus in Oshawa on Tuesday morning, according to Durham Regional Police. The collision took place near the intersection of Wilson Road North and Hillcroft Street. Police responded to the scene, and the pedestrian was reported to be conscious and breathing when transported to hospital.

Durham Regional Police closed Wilson Road North between Hillcroft Street and Beatrice Street East during the investigation. The school bus remained at the scene after the incident. No injuries to passengers on the bus were reported by police.

The police state that the cause of the collision is under investigation and are asking anyone with information or dash cam footage to contact the traffic services branch.
