Ontario Works office at Oshawa’s Midtown Mall closed June 4 for nearby watermain work

Durham Region said the Ontario Works office at Midtown Mall in Oshawa (Unit C1A, 200 John St. W.) was closed June 4 due to watermain work in the surrounding area.

For clients who need Ontario Works help during the closure, the Region said services and supports can be accessed at the Region of Durham headquarters at 605 Rossland Rd. E. in Whitby.

In its notice, Durham Region listed the closure location as the Ontario Works Office at Unit C1A in Midtown Mall in Oshawa and cited nearby watermain work as the reason for the shutdown.

The notice did not include a reopening date.
