Trulls Road in Clarington to close between Bloor Street and Cigas Road Sept. 1–3 for railway work
Trulls Road in the Municipality of Clarington will be closed between Bloor Street and Cigas Road from Sept. 1 to Sept. 3, 2026, for railway crossing construction, the municipality says.
The closure includes a full blockage at the railway crossing, meaning drivers, cyclists, pedestrians and emergency vehicles will not be able to pass through that point during the work.
According to the Municipality of Clarington, a “hard closure” will be in place at the railway crossing. The municipality says hard closures block the entire road.
The municipality also says there will be “soft closures” at the intersections of Bloor Street and Trulls Road, and Cigas Road and Trulls Road. In its notice, the municipality says soft closures allow local traffic to access homes, businesses or properties up to the point of the hard closure.
The Municipality of Clarington is asking residents to use alternative local routes during the closure.
