Bowmanville Development Proposals Set for Public Discussion

The Planning and Development Committee of Bowmanville has an upcoming meeting scheduled for Monday, April 14, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will review three proposed development projects.

One proposal for 221 Liberty Street North, submitted by Biddle & Associates on behalf of 100801308 Ontario Inc., aims to amend zoning by-laws for the creation of five lots. A second proposal involves Modo Bowmanville Urban Towns Ltd. and Modo Bowmanville Towns Ltd. seeking to develop 980 residential units at Boswell Drive and Green Road, covering approximately 9.81 acres.

The meeting will be accessible both online and in person at the Council Chambers, located in the Municipal Administrative Centre, 40 Temperance Street, Bowmanville. Residents wishing to speak at the meeting need to pre-register via an online form or by contacting the Clerk’s Division by April 11, 2025, at 3:30 p.m.

These development proposals are set to be discussed, inviting community input during the session.
