Marie Sharp’s Garlic Habanero Pepper Sauce Recalled for Spoilage, CFIA Reports

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has announced a recall of Marie Sharp’s Original Garlic Habanero Pepper Sauce because of possible spoilage. The recall was started by the company and publicized by the CFIA as part of a food safety investigation.

The affected product is sold in 148 mL bottles under the name Marie Sharp’s Original Garlic Habanero Pepper Sauce. According to the CFIA, this product has been distributed across Canada, including Ontario.

The CFIA reports that its investigation may lead to the recall of other products. The agency advises consumers not to use, serve, sell, or distribute the recalled sauce.
