Route 507 Detour in Newcastle Due to Road Closure

Durham Region Transit has announced a detour for Route 507 due to a road closure on North Street / Manvers Road in Newcastle. The detour will be in effect from Monday, October 21 to Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

Detour Details:

• Westbound Trips: The route will operate via Concession Road 3, Arthur Street, King Street, Mill Street, Edward Street, Brookhouse Drive, and King Street.
• Eastbound Trips: The route will operate via Mill Street, Edward Street, Brookhouse Drive, Arthur Street, and Concession Road 3.

Closed Stops:

• Stop #1408 - Mill Street northbound @ King Street.
• Stop #1392 – North Street northbound @ Monroe Street.
• Stop #1410 - North Street southbound @ Grady Drive.

Temporary Stop:

• Arthur Street northbound @ King Street, north of King Street.

Eastbound trips will not serve stops #94228 and #94227 on King Street, between Arthur Street and Mill Street. Passengers are advised to use the temporary stop on Arthur Street, north of King Street.
