Two Pickering Youths Charged in Ajax Robbery
Two young males from Pickering have been charged following an incident involving a robbery at knife-point in Ajax. The event took place on October 16, 2024, around 6:40 p.m. near Rossland Road West and Church Street North. According to police reports, two male youths allegedly stole a scooter from a 13-year-old boy. When the victim confronted them, the suspects reportedly threatened him with a knife. Officers from the West Division, aided by Air1, located the suspects nearby and arrested them without incident. The victim was unharmed.
The individuals charged are a 16-year-old male and a 15-year-old male, both from Pickering. They face charges of robbery and have been released on an Undertaking. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking further information from the public.
